Hod Rishonim – A Journey Through Time, A Vacation in the Galilee
In the heart of the historic town of Metula, surrounded by open views of Mount Hermon and the Golan Heights, lies a unique hospitality estate called Hod Rishonim—a personal creation of Irit Hod, a descendant of a family deeply rooted in Galilean hospitality.
Between Heritage and Precise Design
Irit Hod, daughter of Miriam and Haim Hod—the founders of the “Beit Shalom” Hotel in Metula—was born into the world of hospitality and raised on quality, tradition, and heartfelt service. When she established Hod Rishonim, she chose to blend her family story with her passion for aesthetics, design, and thoughtful hosting.
The walls of the estate were built using the original stones from her great-grandmother’s house, which had stood on this very spot since the late 19th century and collapsed in 1986. The stones, once buried, were unearthed, cleaned, and became the foundation for a new estate that breathes life into history with a modern interpretation.
The design inspiration draws from the 19th century—classic lines, vintage touches, warm colors, and natural textures—crafted with high-end finishes and a premium hospitality experience.
The Estate Layout
Hod Rishonim features a private mosaic-tiled swimming pool at its center, surrounded by three unique stone houses. Each one is designed with its own concept but shares a common language of quiet elegance, warmth, and a breathtaking view of Mount Hermon and the Golan Heights.
