A spacious luxury hospitality complex in the heart of the Upper Galilee
Bereshit Elifelet is a new, beautifully maintained hospitality complex in Elifelet, in the Upper Galilee. Set on approximately one dunam, it combines the privacy of individual suites with generous shared spaces. The complex features four spacious suites, each with a couple’s bedroom and a separate children’s room – a total of 8 bedrooms when the entire complex is booked. At the center of the courtyard is a large 12×5-meter swimming pool, with a fully equipped shared kitchen and dining room directly opposite, making it easy for families and groups to spend time together.
We visited Bereshit ourselves, and one of the first things we noticed was the sense of space. The four suites are arranged around the central area, the courtyard is generous, and the layout makes it possible to enjoy a vacation together while still preserving the privacy of each suite. During our visit, we were particularly impressed by the cleanliness and maintenance, the size of the suites and pool, and the high level of equipment both inside the suites and throughout the shared areas.
A large swimming pool at the heart of the complex
At the center of Bereshit is a large 12×5-meter heated and fenced swimming pool. Its location naturally makes it the heart of the complex and the focal point for much of the time spent outdoors.
The spacious pool area includes sun loungers, chairs, garden furniture and outdoor dining tables. There is also a table tennis table and a BBQ area. During the summer months, a retractable shading system can be extended over the pool area according to the time of day and the amount of sun.
The main pool is shared by guests of all four suites. In addition, the Shlomo Suite has its own private heated swimming pool measuring 5.5×2 meters.
One of the things we liked about the design of Bereshit is the connection between the different areas. The suites surround the courtyard, the pool sits at the center, and the dining room and kitchen are directly opposite. Even when guests are spending time in different parts of the complex, there is still a sense of being on vacation together.
The complex also offers views toward Safed. We arrived at Bereshit toward the end of the day and stayed through sunset, when the combination of the open courtyard, pool and surrounding view creates a particularly pleasant atmosphere for sitting outdoors.
Shared dining room and kitchen overlooking the pool
Directly opposite the pool is one of Bereshit’s standout features – a spacious, enclosed and air-conditioned shared dining room and kitchen available to all guests, including those booking just one suite.
This is much more than a small supplementary kitchenette. It is a proper space for cooking, hosting and eating together. The dining area accommodates up to 30 guests and includes a large dining table, allowing an extended family or several families traveling together to sit down for one shared meal.
The kitchen is equipped with an oven, cooking hobs, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerators, Tami4 water dispenser, cookware, serving utensils, plates, glasses, cutlery and spices.
The dining room is air-conditioned and also features ceiling fans and a large TV. Its front faces the pool, maintaining a direct connection with the courtyard and pool area even while sitting indoors. A portable air cooler is also available and can be moved to the outdoor seating area when needed.
Four spacious, thoughtfully designed suites
The complex includes four suites – Shlomo Suite, David Suite, Shaked Suite and Noa Suite. All four are identical in size, layout and level of amenities. Each measures approximately 54 square meters and accommodates a couple and up to four children. Shlomo Suite is distinguished by its own private swimming pool.
Each suite has a private seating area at the entrance. Inside, contemporary design is combined with warmer elements. The high wooden ceiling immediately adds a sense of space and complements the lighting, furnishings and designed TV wall.
The main sleeping area features a 160×200 cm double bed with a designed headboard, armchairs and an upholstered bench at the foot of the bed. Opposite the bed is a 55-inch TV integrated into a designed feature wall, with an electric fireplace below that adds warmth to the atmosphere in the evening. Each suite also includes a couple’s Jacuzzi.
A wide glass wall faces the courtyard and pool, bringing plenty of natural light into the suite. Full-length curtains can be closed whenever guests want greater privacy.
A spacious couple’s suite that also works beautifully for families
Although every suite can accommodate a family, the main space has been designed to feel like a spacious couple’s suite. The generous size, high wooden ceiling, double bed, Jacuzzi for two, electric fireplace, lighting and wide glass wall create an intimate atmosphere that also makes Bereshit an excellent choice for a couple’s getaway.
The children’s room is completely separate and can be closed off. When a couple stays on their own, it does not form part of the main living space, so the suite retains its intimate, couple-oriented character. When staying with children, the additional room can be opened, giving the family two separate sleeping areas.
The children’s room includes a bunk bed, air conditioning, a 55-inch TV and storage closets.
Each suite also has a private kitchenette with a breakfast bar, refrigerator, espresso machine, microwave, electric kettle, serving utensils and glasses. Guests can therefore enjoy the convenience of their own suite while also using the main shared kitchen and dining room whenever they want to cook and dine together.
The TVs are connected to YES and include Smart TV functionality, with access to YouTube, Netflix and other streaming services. Wi-Fi is available throughout the complex.
Spacious bathroom with a double shower
The bathroom continues the high standard of the suite. It is spacious, fully tiled and includes a large shower with two shower heads and a built-in seating bench. The double shower complements the couple-oriented character of the suite and allows two guests to enjoy it together.
The bathroom also includes towels and dispensers with shampoo, conditioner and soap, with a continuous supply of hot water available throughout the complex.
For couples, families and vacations with several families together
The layout of Bereshit allows the complex to suit different types of stays. A couple can book a spacious suite with a Jacuzzi, fireplace and intimate atmosphere; a family also benefits from a separate children’s room; and several couples or families traveling together can book all four suites and enjoy the entire complex with a total of 8 bedrooms.
When the whole complex is booked, the pool, courtyard and dining room become natural gathering spaces throughout the day, while each couple or family still has their own private suite at the end of the day. This makes Bereshit particularly suitable for extended families, several families vacationing together or groups of friends who want to stay in one place without giving up their privacy.
Easy access, parking and protected space
Bereshit is built entirely on one level. There are no stairs between the parking area and the entrances to any of the four suites, and movement between the different areas of the complex is easy and convenient.
Ample guest parking is available, including an electric vehicle charging station.
A shared protected room (Mamad) is located at the center of the complex and is available to guests of all four suites.
Bereshit Elifelet is located in the Upper Galilee, close to Rosh Pina and within convenient driving distance of the Sea of Galilee, hiking trails and attractions throughout northern Israel. The combination of suites suitable for romantic getaways, separate children’s rooms, a large swimming pool and generous shared spaces allows Bereshit to accommodate different types of vacations throughout the year – from a couple looking for a few quiet days away to an extended family booking the entire complex.
